1. What material are the coasters made of?

At Studio Decorai, all coasters are made of MDF with laminated artwork on the top. Each coaster measures 3.5”x3.5” with rounded corners. The base is made of polished wood. Our coasters are made of high-quality sustainable medium-density fibre boards. Each coaster is handmade in our studio and covered with a water-resistant lamination for the longevity and protection of our artwork. The base of each handmade coaster set is made of polished pine wood.

2. What is the shipping cost of coasters?

Shipping is free for all orders above INR 2500. A shipping charge applies to all orders below INR 2500.

3. What types of coasters are available?

Our handmade coaster online sets are available in sets of 4 and 6. All coasters come with a wooden base to store them comfortably.

All our artwork is created using high-quality professional water paints of brands like Winsor & Newton, Daniel Smith, and Sennelier on cotton-based papers sourced globally. Each artwork is uniquely created in our studio to ensure the premium print quality of each coaster design.

 8. Can these handmade coasters be washed with soap? How do we waterproof our handmade coasters?

No, we don’t recommend putting these coasters under running water or washing them. However, our handmade coasters can easily be wiped clean with a damp cloth or sponge. We use a special double coating that resists scratches and moisture. Tea or coffee stains and glass rings can be easily wiped clean.

        9. Do handmade coasters make good gifts? For what occasions can you use them  as gifts?

• Care Instructions

Our coaster sets are durable and easy to maintain, however, please do not wash the coasters or put them under running water. Wipe the coasters with a damp cloth to clean them. Our coaster sets are not microwave or dishwasher-safe. It’s as easy as wiping your spill with a cloth.

• Delivery

Each handmade coaster online set is completely handcrafted. While most tableware and homeware are dispatched within 2-4 business days, in some cases and custom orders, the dispatch may take up to 5-7 business days.
